HEADLINES  | | | Player Evaluations 6/18, 6/19, 6/20 by WYSL Board posted 06/13/2013 Player Evaluations for travel competition teams will take place at East Center Fields from 6:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, June 18
- Wednesday, June 19
- Thursday, June 20
Player evaluations info:
- Player evaluations are for players who want to be considered for placement on the travel competition teams.
- Players must attend 2 out of 3 sessions.
- Players will be directed to the appropriate field upon arrival at the fields
- Evaluations are conducted by the travel coaches with assistance from the Everson Soccer Academy coaches.

Back to top  | 3 Teams Advance to State Cup Finals by WYSL Administration posted 06/11/2013 The WYSL is excited and proud to announce that 3 teams have moved on to the CT State Cup finals. This is the first time in the history of the Wallingford Youth Soccer League has had more than 1 team compete in a season for the Cup Championship*.
The three teams that have moved on are:
- U12 Girls - United
- U14 Girls - Tornados
- U16 Boys - Warriors

Win or lose this is a huge accomplishment and representative of the success and effectiveness of the WYSL soccer players skill development programs. For those of you with kids not in competitive soccer division, which starts in U9 & U10 as developmental team, we hope you see this as a future goal in your kids youth soccer careers.
*CT State Cup Tournament is a seasonal tournament played each season - Fall & Spring. Its a single elimination tournament which based on the age division has anywhere from 64 to 16 teams from all over Connecticut Compete.

is the proud sponsor of the 2013 TWIST Scholarship Awards.
This year $7,300 in scholarships were awarded
to 11 graduating seniors from Wallingford for their participation and service to the WYSL and TWIST,
as well as their high level of academic performance and community service.

The WYSL is run entirely by volunteers. We are always looking for additional helpers. Most of the jobs do not require any soccer knowledge. So, if you are interested in working with a terrific group of people, please contact someone on the Board or come to one our monthly general meetings.
WYSL General Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month @ 8:00 p.m. at the WYSL Club House, Simpson Court. |
